Odi had no idea Avi was planning on leaving Pilot Ridge. If he did know, they both knew he would do anything in the world to stop her. Yes he had left without a word, but he was still trying to figure that out. But to bring that up would not be ok, it would only make things worse.

As it was, he didn’t know she was going, and so, had invited her over so they could spend some time together. Nothing fancy. He had ordered some take away food and it was still hot, sitting on the table. He wouldn’t start without her.

When the buzzer to the apartment went off, he unlocked the door without thinking too much on it. A smile graced his face and he opened the door to one of his favorite women.

“Hello love,” he said, giving her a warm embrace before moving to let her in. “I hope I ordered something you like for dinner.”

Yes, Avi was planning on leaving. She wasn't sure about how many people she would inform, possibly only Mina, since she was leaving too. Yes it might have been a little cruel, but she wasn't going to put up a fuss, nor tell anyone really. All she wanted was to slowly disappear from the life that Hammel had provided for her.

What exactly was there here for her anyway? She couldn't really afford college so she was instead going to go back to her home and work two jobs and take online classes. Mina was leaving, and Lani and Odion were working towards getting better and she felt like the third wheel. So when Odion had invited her over for dinner, she couldn't refuse, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to feel a little guilty the entire time she was there.

She couldn't say no to Odion though, no matter what he had done he was still one of her best friends. She would stand by him, and Lani for that matter when they needed her. She was dressed very casually, except for the heels of course as she walked up to his apartment, buzzing the door, only to be greeted with Odion's smiling face.

Smiling she hugged him back, a soft breeze running through the apartment. "You know I will. I'm not that picky. " She smirked before stepping in. "Dinner!"

Odion wasn’t sure how he had ever made Avi feel like a third wheel. It wasn’t as though Lani and himself were overly affectionate. Perhaps it was the state of their relationship that made Avi feel this way. Yes it was true that Odion spent far more time trying to fix things with Lani than he made time for anyone else. Jared perhaps felt the same way.

The redhead laughed, shaking his head. He headed over to the table and opened up the bag, a container for each of them. “Vegetables and pork for me, and…” He handed over the other container to her, a fork already set atop it. “The same for you.” Each meal came with white rice and Odion was content to eat straight from the carton.

“How does it feel? To be graduated?” He asked, since it had been some time since that even that happened. He was happy he had gone – Avi looked pretty as usual. Opening up the container, he sat down at the little kitchenette table and waited for her to join him before he dug in.

Avi knew she wasn't intentionally made to feel like the third wheel, but when you played matchmaker and peacekeeper, it was just sort of involuntary. Don't get her wrong, she was super happy for the two of them and wished them all the best luck, plain and simple they loved each other. Probably more then the other person knew. She just wasn't going to get in the way of them.

Avi smiled as she found the container and sat, kicking her shoes off onto the floor. "I don't need to have my shoes on here." She smirked before taking a bite of her food. "Yummy." She wished she could have done this more before she left.

Smirking a tiny bit Avi took a sip of her water, that was conveniently placed next to the class of wine, and smiled a little. "It's different. Hammel has been my home for a long time. Longer then you actually." She grinned before taking a few more bites. She really hoped he didn't ask the question that she was dreading from everyone.

Odion smirked and gave a shrug. "I do get compliments on how clean it is in here." And he didn't care if she wanted her shoes off or not, as long as she felt like she was at home. "It is quite good," he agreed, eating with poise and grace as was usual for him.

Water and wine was a staple Odion practically expected when he went out to visit so why wouldn't he serve it? "Different isn't necessarily a bad thing," he said, curiosity in his eyes. Of course he wanted to know what she was doing next. If they could continue doing these things, but she didn't seem keen on doing so.

"Just know I'll help you in any way I can if you'll let me," he said. He didn't care if she was going to school or working, Odion just wanted her to be happy. "Oh, do you want any coffee? Or tea?" He asked, getting up mid meal to get himself a cup of the former. Why did it feel like he may never see her again?

Avi grinned from ear to ear when he said she could take her shoes off. "It is quite clean. Cleaner then my room anyway." She grinned as she knew that Odion had experienced the messiness of her room at Hammel and really shouldn't be surprised by it. She had to giggle a little when he ate in a very prim and proper way that was undeniably Odion. "Yea, thanks for having me by the way. You are rooming with Jared right?"

She had fond memories of Jared, he had been a good roommate and an excellent... what was the phrase? Friend with benefit? Yea that was it. She smirked a little thinking back to when he was her roommate at Hammel. "He was a cool roommate." Avi laughed before shrugging a little at the comment. "It isn't, just...different." She really didn't want to elaborate, but she was sure Odion would get it out of her by the end of the night. The boy had a way of doing that.

Avi had to smile as Odion offered his help. "Thanks Red. I appreciate it." She smiled albeit a little sadly at the thought of the month to come. She hoped that it wouldn't hurt him when she left, but she realized that he was too preoccupied to really care. She just wanted this to be simple. Looking up from her train of thought Avi nodded, "Coffee would be lovely. Milk and sugar, lots of sugar, you know I like it sweet."

Odion puffed up a little bit at the confirmation of the cleanliness of the apartment. Jared didn’t seem to appreciate it, but Odi was quite proud of himself for his upkeeping skills. “It’s my pleasure, good company is hard to come by.” He said, followed by a nod. “Yes, just like old times.” He grinned thoughtfully and shook his head. “He’s a bit of a slob, but, you got to love him.” And Odion did. Jared was his true brother.

Odion cocked an eyebrow. “A cool roommate?” He asked, just to be sure. That wasn’t how Jared had described living with Avi. There had been too many details in that conversation, things he didn’t really care to know about Avi.

Of course he would be hurt when he found out she had left, and when that happened he would have half a mind to go after her and at least visit. Nothing was stopping him from doing that. “Coming right up,” he said, going to a rather fancy coffee maker. “Just plain coffee?” He asked, taking down some espresso beans to make himself a hazelnut latte, his favorite drink. “I could also make you a cappuccino, or latte…” He looked over at her, offering a warm smile.
