Live had a love/hate relationship with parties. On the one hand, they were great because alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol. Also, watching the people who were way too drunk and being idiots was also highly entertaining. However, on the other hand it was horrible dealing with drunk guys coming up and flirting with her all night. If Live was still sober, the flirting never ended well, for the the other party. If she was drunk enough she actually found herself enjoying the compliments.
One of her acquaintances, Mike, from Hammel was throwing a party near the lake. Live often got invited to parties just because she was pretty and would always bring drinks. When she arrived, her backpack full with a bottle of Jack, two bottles of Captain Morgan, half a bottle of Pinnacle (she drank the other half on her way to the party), and six beers (just for her). The party was at Mike's house, which was about half a mile from the lake out in the woods. The perfect spot for underage kids to get drunk.
Mike met Live at the door with a huge smile. "LIVEY! I so glad you made it!" Live could already hear the drunk in his voice. He grabbed Live's wrist and pulled her inside. Mike was one of the few people Live handled touching her. They weren't really friends and their relationship didn't extend beyond getting drunk together at parties but that was fine with Live. They had hooked up once about a year ago but nothing else ever happened. Live was fine with that too.
Mike's house was a decent sized. His parents had been rich and given him this place, which use to be their vacation home or something like that. It had a huge kitchen and a giant living space on the first floor. There was also two bathrooms (which Mike had designated one for girls and one for guys) and a room off to the side with a pool table. Mike had cleared pretty much everything out of the rooms except for a dinning table (for drinks and snacks) and the couches and chairs, which he pushed up against the walls to make a dance floor. There were already at least three dozen people scattered about when she got there. A few drunk people yelled Live's name but she ignored them, heading to her usual spot in a reclining chair in the corner by the table. She set her back pack down and pulled out the bottle of pinnacle and set it on the table. She had no problem letting people drink her alcohol but she liked to see who was drinking it. She pulled out a beer, popped off the top and began to drink. She could already feel the eyes falling on her. A couple people she had seen before came up and asked for shots, which she poured into the red cups, and then went right back to her own drink.
