in short, ben is an introverted film buff with a sleeve full of jokes and a head full of math. hes friendly, loves laughing, and dances like he has seven left feet and owns it. theres no point in living if you cant laugh at yourself, he thinks.

Sean is the Hammel Psychiatrist, and he has held that position for nearing two-and-a-half decades. He's in his mid-fifties, and he likes friends and introspection. His partner is Joshua Bernstein, a civil rights attorney in town. Please be friends with them.

I'd like to offer up a character of mine as well, if that's all right. ^^ Ricky O'Cassidy is the school's accountant, and both he and Ben have similar personalities and interests. I'd love to have them go out and grab a beer, maybe watch a game some time. They can nerd out about math and sports, and Ricky has a lot of funny stories to tell that he can laugh off like anything.

Thomas is my janitor character. He's very well educated, quiet, friendly and likes to go out for drinks with coworkers. He and Ricky often go out, so we could have a three person thread with Kalli if you'd like! As an added incentive, Thomas usually buys.

Kateri and Ben

Kateri is one of the other math-heavy teachers at Hammel and would love to talk shop one day. She's very friendly in the staff lounge and enjoys going out to lunch with her coworkers.

Alright, so I've got three likely candidates for friendships with Ben for ya.

Tom and Ben: French teacher, been there for five years and counting so they could have started becoming lunch buddies and we can work our way up from there? Maybe beer buddies later? ^^

Riley and Ben: Though Riley doesn't like drinking, he does like friends and if they have been friends for a while, Riley might start baking for him. It's just what he does xD And Riley is friends with Josh and Sean so that could be where the connection grows. Riley would also introduce Ben to Danny, his fiance and then they can just chill or something ^^

Dean and Ben: Dean is a lot younger than Ben but they do work together so they could also be lunch buddies ^^
