Situation:

Beau's technically been at Hammel for a few years now, and there's some work in that background. He's a fairly social creature, with a tendency to flirt with any female he thinks is halfway pretty. If he's not flirting, he's usually being charming and polite, at least to the best of his ability. There is that whole backwoods, Duck Dynasty kinda thing, but hey, that's part of his charm. Still, if you're looking for a genial Southern boy to spend some time with, Beau's your man.

Oh, he's also a bit obsessed with country music, both playing and listening.

Relationships:

Beau is a very straight male, and he's currently very interested in Sammy Wilder. That's not going to stop him from flirting with any girl that crosses his path though. Friend-wise, he's met a few people, and definitely considers Carleigh Davidson a friend. I'm also looking for anyone interested in taking over training him. Beau has recently had a wakeup call in that regard and needs to spend more time honing his ability, else he's in deep trouble.

Add has recently returned to Hammel after using her ability to technically win the lottery. She struggles with understanding social interactions, though that doesn't stop her from trying. Imagine a highly advanced alien anthropologist attempting to figure out how humans work, and you'll more or less have an idea of who Add is. She still has this tendency to reduce people to probabilities that she then sees as "problems" to be solved, though she's actively working through that and other issues (seeing professionals and everything).

Relationships:

Add is unsure about her sexuality. Up to this point, she's only had heterosexual relations because those are the standard, but in all likelihood, she's more likely to identify as a Demisexual. She has extreme difficulty in making friends and connections, but she's quite earnest to try.

Hello! Here to throw my one Hammel student at you.

Carleigh/Beau: Like your charrie, Carleigh has been at Hammel for four years but is a newer character. So her history is pretty open. We could do a time warp thread where Carleigh and Beau meet in the past, or presently. Both of them are social people. Only, Carleigh dislikes country music, which is kind of his everything. So who knows how the two will react to each other.

Beau and Liv: THey're around the same age and both really like music. Liv plays the ukelele and a little guitar and also sings and writes her own music. I can see these two hitting it off and becoming pretty cute friends. Maybe they can play an open mic together? I can see liv being a bit shy actually playing in front of an audience at first but could be fun.

Mia and Beau: Mia is a music freak; however she likes more punk rock music than anything else, she's actually not a fan of country music. However, maybe Beau could get her to like a few country singers or bands, and maybe she could get him into liking some rock music. Lol, it's an idea. Mia can play Piano, keyboard, violin, and acoustic guitar, and I'm sure she will start learning to play a few more lol. ^-^ Other than that, Mia is super friendly, and is looking for more friends! Let me know what you think.

Hi Fate!

Already talked to you about plotting with this guy but yeahhhh. I think he and my girl Tak might be an interesting combination. She had a child last summer, so she's busy kind of trying to figure her life out and graduate on time, alone with normal teenage drama and such. She's very down-to-earth and nature-y, sort of spiritual and old for her age, so it might be something fun to play out, I dunno.

Seems like everyone's had their eye on Beau. So don't feel compelled to.....I dunno. THREAD WITH ME.

Anthony/Beau - They've both been at the school a while, so they probably know each other. Maybe enough to be friends?

Brooke/Beau - I just brought back this girl and she needs threads. Brooke is a little crazy, honestly, and hard to keep up with since she's such a troll. But she and Beau also have an interest in music. She often goes out to clubs and parties and the like and is an avid karaoke singer.

Woo boy, that's a lotta plotting. Guess it's my turn to respond, eh?

Deb: I'm game for putting Carleigh and Beau together. Considering that they've both been around, and she's cute and he's flirty, there's a very high chance that he's at least flirted with her in the past. She's a tad young for him though, so I'm not sure that anything would likely develop there. If nothing else, he'd love to try and convert a pretty blonde girl to country music.

Rex: Got another case of "pretty girl, thus, flirt," going on there. Once we get past that initial stage, I'm with you in seeing some potential. Both Liv and Beau are rays of sunshine, and I get a feeling that putting them together will result in some kinda little happy thread thing. He's also likely to enjoy playing music with her, and I could easily see them working together on songs (with Beau pretty well continually convincing her that she should go country, 'cuz it's the best).

Sky: I get the feeling that Mia x Beau is gonna be one of those balls of odd. He's not gonna get over her hair or her punk tendencies, like, at all. He's literally gonna think she's messed up because of it, and it's gonna take a bit before he looks beyond that. They do have the piano playing thing which I could see as a pretty strong connection, enough to draw Beau close.

Apollo: I will almost guarantee you that Beau says something stupid to Tak within two posts of meeting her. First there's gonna be his picking up her personality thing, which is gonna just confuse the heck out of him. And there's no way he's not gonna say something about her whole Native Earthy thing, likely something incredibly stupid. At some point his manners are likely to kick in, but there's likely to be a fair amount of silent, IC judging going on there. Which usually leads to good plots, so there's that...

Phelli: Okay, so Anthony x Beau needs to happen solely because of the plushie thing. I can honestly see Beau getting within ten feet of the other guy, manifesting a tiny plushie, and wondering if he'd just taken a hit of some super-powerful hallucinogen. We could actually do the time warp thing with them if need be to get a better situation. But honestly, getting that close to him is gonna be enough. Like, plushies appearing at random, that's definitely enough.

As for Beau x Brooke, again, she's cute, and that's obviously Beau's weakness. He's also often in the music scene, so it's easy enough to figure that she'd show up at one of his shows, which would possibly give us a decent starting point there.

Beau and Liv: I agree with all you said. Also a note, Liv flirts a lot but she's more or less oblivious to people flirting with HER so sorry in advanced for her default awkward mode. I think they also most likely would know eachother at least on a basic "i know who you are" level since theyve been in school together for probably a decent amount of time now. PM me when you get the chance and maybe we can figure out where we want to start them thread wise

Hey!

I love the idea for a Timewarp. Anthony is very new himself and the fact that it's timewarp right now makes it very convenient and easy for me to plot out his history here at Hammel. If Beau started making plushies, that would be enough to excite Anthony because he would thing Beau had the same power, but then I can see it degenerating into a fluster-fest with plushies raining everywhere! The potential for cute and hilarity is too much for me to pass up!

For Brooke, she is so integrated in the music scene that there is no doubt she would have attended one of his shows. We can either do this as a timewarp or a belated first meeting with a "Hey I know you!" kind of feel.

I'm good for starting either of these anytime, so just let me know the when, and who you'd like to start. ^^

Ack, sorry about not getting back to you sooner. I totally had the whole PM thing opened last night but didn't get to you. Anyway, I'm thinking past setting might be the best for the moment. Beau has been around for a while and I fancy getting a few threads that are backdated could help me establish him a little better. Considering that he's a grand show-off, I can always start up a thread where he's playing in a lounge, which would easily lead them into a discussion about music.
