Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate the character you think deserves it for this month. Who was awesome? Who did something significant? As of now, Ven's, Apple's, Alex's, Deb's, Bre's, and Apollo's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past eight months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, Ven, Splatt, Day, Apollo, Deb, and Raven are off-limits for nominations. So is everyone on staff.

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! You cannot nominate:

Reasons: Lux is always up for plotting with people, being a sounding board for those trying to work things out, or just popping in the c-box to make everyone smile.

Reasons: I know this isn't that long of a thread, but I'm still enjoying it. Lukas is trying to hard. And Clement is just being himself, and thanking god he's not having this meeting with Dr. Neville.

Reasons: Jesse is sick and hallucinating M.S.A.D. members at Hammel. This can only end well.

Reasons: The man talks to cute little furry animals, what more do you need? More? Okay. Harve is also hilariously mild-mannered with a dash of low self-confidence. And that's a wonderfully disastrous combination for a teacher at Hammel.

Reasons: I'm a complete fangirl of this woman. She's done wonders with plotting across the entire site, pretty much threads with everyone, has an entire clan of characters, each one completely likable and developed; seriously, who doesn't like Syd? She is awesome and I'll be having no arguments about that. *glares*

Reasons: Because I <3 her. She's such a fun character to interact with, I love her attitude and want to squeeze her with hugs. Also a sharp tongue. Her comebacks and insults always make me laugh and squee.

Nomination: Mia Bell and Amelia Zhao -Emotionally supportive friends
Reasons: So Mia and Mel are finally getting close enough to where Mia feels (not so) comfortable with talking about her past. Though the fear of judgement is still there, Mel immediately leaps forward to offer her the acknowledgement and support that Mia needs to talk about it, even to the point of giving Mia the option of staying the night with her when she's plagued by nightmares. Their relationship is warm, playful, and growing into something that could possibly be 'more than friends'.

Reasons: With his new roommate asking him for a simple day of fishing, for once Erik is not raging out offensive and venom. This is a rare chance to see the normally volatile boy act so awkward when he actually in invited by someone who isn't intimidated by him and who offers him a day to do something he loves. I can't wait to see what happens.

Nomination: SUE: So How Does Your Bed Feel? - With Marnie and Lucas
Reasons: They're only communicating via text, but the interaction between these two is hilarious! Despite the both of them being sick in bed, Lucas keeps turning everything into some sort of obscene come on, and Marnie pretty much just tells him to go to hell. And yet he keeps coming back for more. I like how she handles him.

Reasons: Colton is a relatively new member, having only joined this May, but he already has three delightful characters for people to play with. And he went for variety, too, with the groups and ages. I don't see him online very much which is probably due to time zone differences, but when I have seen him around he's been friendly and engaging. I hope to see more of Colton and his characters around the site in the future.

Reasons: He's so dedicated to studying that he does it even when the power is out. how can you not love a character with that sort of dedication? I really want to see more of him, so all the students need to go thread with him RIGHT NOW. >.>

Reasons: More people should plot with Ziggy. First, she has a fantastic power (bioluminescence), the type of power that makes students wonder why they have to attend Hammel until graduation because it's bioluminescence. Second, she has a clumsy yet no-nonsense way about her which makes interaction interesting to read and I think fun to participate in. Lucy does a great job with her.

Reasons: Etch keeps making fantastic characters and writing wonderful posts. Moreover, she's thoughtful and fun in the C-Box, and I'm glad to have her here with us.

Reasons: I am not going to use the pairing name for them, but I greatly enjoy how the two of them interact. Every thread they have together is both revealing and fun to read along with, even the more emotional ones.

Reasons: Peanut has done the impossible insofar as making Oriel seem put-upon. How, you may ask, given that Oriel isn't even in this thread? Greg McKenzie is talking back to our physical education teacher, Mister Pruitt, and then to add insult to injury he gives Oriel's name when questioned. This will end poorly.

Reasons: If you haven't been following their threads, you definitely should. These two are hilarious and so are their meetings--from meeting when Eloise was naked in the lake to her throwing up on his dorm room floor from catching the plague going around campus. Kuni brings something new out of Eloise that is interesting to see, a fumbling awkward mess for once! I love it!

Reasons: While Izzy might not be present in the c-box, her characters are great! They are not cliché and they have real depth to them! Her threads are a pleasure to read, and so are the writing challenges that she posts (which she pretty much participates in every month!)
