Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate the character you think deserves it for this month. Who was awesome? Who did something significant? As of now, Apple's, Alex's, Deb's, Bre's, Apollo's, and Eddie's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past eight months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, Splatt, Day, Apollo, Deb, Raven, and Elsinore are off-limits for nominations. So is everyone on staff.

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! You cannot nominate:

Reasons: I haven't had a chance to talk much with Pam, but she's jumped straight into both the fray and into the PUSE plot so I'm already impressed.

Nomination: MoJo Knight
Reasons: Although she's brand new, Emily's already done a fabulous job with her. It's clear Em is really handling MoJo's disability with sensitivity towards real issues faced by deaf people, but without relying on her deafness as a short cut to characterization. I really look forward to seeing where Emily goes with her.

Reasons: Pretty sure this is headed for disaster and I want to be along for the ride

Reasons: I like threads wherein the student characters deal with school. I also like absurdity and embarrassment, and here we have all of that! Marnie needs a tutor, and so she's set up with Colton. She realizes he's younger than her and doesn't know that he's an omnilinguist and it's just really great. Etch and Colton should be commended for this fabulousness.

Reasons: Rae is an amazing person to talk to and such a good sport about doing all kinds of of plots no matter how hard they may be. She's consistently enthusiastic about all her characters and all of her threads, I don't know how she keeps up with it all. I can't wait to see where she takes Axelle in her boy endeavors. I just love Percie to death, she is so incredibly passionate about everything she believes in. It's such a shame that she's going through such a difficult time in her life right now. I haven't had the opportunity to plot with her other characters, but I've heard nothing but good things from those who have had that privilege. Rae, you are amazing-ballz. Keep being awesome.

Nomination: JJ Bishop - Johnathan and Jacob Bishop
Reasons: I haven't had a thread with JJ for a long time, but even so I still find myself clicking on their threads and reading them with eager eyes, just waiting to see what kind of antics they come up with next. I'm adoring the relationship they have going on with Rain, how they're trying to figure out how this whole 'boyfriend' thing is going to work and even going to(well, running into) Kai Roen of all people to get advice on how to be a 'boyfriend'. I can't wait to see where this ends up.

Reasons: So these two are awesome. Benji is such a player and goes after anything with boobs and Axelle is your stereotypical boy-crazy teenage girl who goes gooey whenever a hot guy looks at her. Put these two together and you have an impulsive make-out session and suddenly a rumor where one got the other pregnant. Or was it just that they had sex? Who can keep these things straight anymore. You kids.

Reasons: Axe is amazing to read. She's energetic and caring and stuff and has somehow managed to get into the buttend of a rumour, which is a funny rumour at that. She's one of those charries that people want to plot with, because she has a slightly offbeat way of communicating and thinking and acting and at the same time she is just... brilliant. I find it difficult to put into words - she's one of those characters that people just like. And that's great - Rae, you're fabulous~

Reasons: You all know her as lux and while I don't call her that, mostly because I know her actual name, she really deserves this. Since I dragged her butt over here, she's been nothing but nice to everyone, along with bringing her fair share of adorable and deep characters to Hammel. I'd seen some of them, but I'm glad that now others ccan see her work as well. She really puts work and thought into these characters of hers.

Reasons: I'm sorry, but she's adorable. Raven not only gives her those cutesy qualities, but the girl has some real turmoil too with her multiple personalities. Her character is interesting to read about and watch develop!

Reasons: Kiara's big brother, Everett may not be too happy about it, but I am, even as his player! These two thread effortlessly together and I'm just waiting for them to finally become a thing! I'm totally rooting for this ship to sail, even with its complications, involving Jackson and baby Gabe and Everett...he's a pretty big road block.

Reasons: THESE TWO! Their friendship is heartwarming thus far and very playful! The thread isn't very far along, but I'm stalking it for these obvious reasons. Ace hasn't seen Oliver in a long time, nor does he know he's a meta human and now he's in Pilot Ridge. Things could only get interesting!

Reasons: It's the thread I feel like I've been waiting for for a long time. As someone who followed this story line back when it was on in real time, I was very excited to see that Chester was the character to take up this open thread. There's tension. There's a strange shared sense of loss. There's a definite understanding that proves the fact that despite the residual aggression towards each other, these two people still have some kind of connection. The best part is that they care, and when that becomes evident, it breaks hearts in the best way. Thanks, you two. It's a bloody beautiful read so far.

Reasons: UGH SO MANY FEELINGS CONDENSED INTO A SINGLE THREAD. I just want to wrap Axelle up in a blanket and console her with snacks and smack Lucas with a frying pan. It's got flirting, arguing, crying, boys being stupid, I just can't.

Reasons: I might be a little biased because Peanut is pretty similar to some of the people I live with (in a good way), and because he puts up with my crap. That being said, I've always enjoyed reading his Greg threads because of the way he uses every post to not only describe what Greg is doing and how he feels, but also flesh out what kind of life Greg had before Hammel and what his home and friends back in Canada are like. And in every post of the threads we've shared, Peanut throws in plenty of little details and twists to respond to. If you're stumped when you're threading with him, it's because you can't decide what to work with first.

Reasons: Mathis and Akira have recently met and have a new friendship. There's an excitement that comes from them that is beautiful in its simplicity, and I look forward to more threads between them.

Reasons: Axelle and Koty are a great combination in this thread, made all the better by how well Rae and Deuce mesh in terms of writing style. A thoughtful, quiet touch telepath who doesn't like to shield meets Axelle the human Hulk.

Reasons: Izy continues to astonish me with the intricacy of Lani's back story. Every thread has a purpose, and she uses Time Warp to her great advantage for character development. This thread is also great because we get to see more of Pryce's Vincent Romanov, a character of whom I never grow tired.
