Talia had to admit, as happy as she was that things seemed to be working out with Xavier, the last months had been rather filled with drama and complications. Not that she was complaining.
Still, it was nice to have a girl's night out.
Especially since she had gotten tickets for this art show tonight. This was the sort of event that she lived for. After all, she had to learn the local art scene before she could really hope to break into it. Plus these things were just so much more fun with a friend.
She had half considered taking Xavier, but ultimately decided against it. She wasn't sure that he'd really enjoy herself, plus she would end up getting focused on him rather than the art. In the end she had invited Sienna. She was a bit younger than Talia but pretty much brilliant and a lot of fun. The two had hit it off pretty quickly and they had fun together which was always a plus.
The event started at 7 though drinks and such started a half hour earlier which was why they had agreed to meet at the gallery at 6:30. Of course, as Talia glanced at her clock, it was currently 6:37. Try as she might, she just could never seem to manage to be on time. Still, she didn't let that spoil her mood tonight. She was determined that she was going to enjoy this instead of fretting over a few missed minutes. Besides, plenty of others would still be arriving well after her.
She was luckily able to find a nearby parking spot and so she quickly walked around the corner to gallery, keeping an eye out for her friend's telltale red hair. One thing was for sure, it was always easy to spot Sienna in a crowd.
