Jen tried to keep playing after that call. And she did. For hours. Funny thing, she wasn't at her own home, per se. After Caelum's little break down, she'd given herself the task to spend time with him, as much as she could. And okay, maybe it wasn't just for him, but also for herself. She wasn't in the best of states and being around him helped. Just because she preferred being here, being her sloppy self and being spoiled did not mean she was not here to help him back. All that was just a nice plus!
After Luke's call she'd been in a dark place, still angry at everyone and everything around her. And with goddamned French men. "Dammit Arno! Don't- what are you doing- what? GAH!" Again she died. Okay, so maybe she even brought in her lame game to his brother's. Not like there was anything better to do around there than that.
She threw her controller in a fit for what felt the tenth time that day, still fuming. Fuck men. Really, just fuck them all. She heard steps behind her, someone walking in and she turned angrily.
"Why are men so shitty?!" She exclaimed, turning around from over the couch, and then back tracked as she saw who it was. "Ah." She said before smiling sheepishly. "I thought you were Caelum." Not Caelum though, just one of his many roommates. She'd never truly talked to Jay other than 'Hey' a few times before, so she truly didn't know what to expect from him. She still tried her best to smile, even if she didn't feel like it. Oh, who cared about smiling? If he lived with Caelum he was probably gay as well, right? Wasn't everyone gay in this house?
