Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate the character you think deserves it for this month. Who was awesome? Who did something significant? As of now, Jon's, Etch's, Pam's, Faraday's, Lux's, Maggie's, Sydnee's, and Elsinore's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past eight months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, Lux, Maggie, Ophelia, Pam, Lurker, Izy, Emily, and Splatt are off-limits for nominations. So is everyone on staff.

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! You cannot nominate:

Journal of the Month – We will not be nominating for Journal OTM this month. All eligible journals will be included in the poll in four days. Eligible journals were posted in during the past month and have not won in the past eight months.

Event Thread of the Month – All Thread Roulette threads that were started after the last round of OTMs are eligible (which is to say all Thread Roulette threads so far.)

Character of the Month: Joshua Bernstein
He just is such a lovable bundle of good intentions and white guilt. Dry has such a good handle on him that half the time three sentences is all she needs. I love how well she's married all his #firstworldproblems baggage and flaws with a loyal, true optimist. It is a pleasure to read whatever he does.

Member of the Month: Sean's Computer
Staff are off-limits for nominations, but I would like to take this moment to nominate Sean's Computer for member of the month. This humble vessel gave all it had in service of countless hours of diligent staff work and a preposterous number of threads. It may have disagreed with Chatango, it may have been unsteady, but it limped even to that last, greatest sacrifice, and I believe it deserves recognition from all of us. Thank you Sean's Computer. You will be dearly missed.

Reasons:you know how there are people who gel together and have all the character connections and all the threads and it's just so great to be like WOW those two people really are great RP partners and I'm so happy for them and it makes all their RP really great too because you see how well they connect and yeah that is Mads and Splatt. They really have a great thing going on so naturally so do their characters. Even though they are new to Hammel I am sure that they will do great things!

Reasons: Have you seen their AU's?!? Seriously, I love how these members have taken the time to really develop their characters' relationship. And not just in this current time and universe, but so many different possibilities and they're all wonderful and adorable. I want these two as my real life neighbors.

Reasons: Her characters are wonderful and diverse. Her threads are enjoyable. Oh and SHE'S amazing! Never fails to brighten my day in the c-box. Sky is one of those players who is always open for plots or a chat and both are done with compassion and fun.

Reasons: Students competing in a giant obstacle course. Aerokinesis and Winged flight vs Ink and Pheromones! Woot! Also Oriel has to be social. And apparently Anjali is the only one who wanted/planned to be there. This should be fun. Not to mention how's this for an epic intro "Be sure to wear your protective padding; you'll need it."

Reasons:I love Ann, I really do. Watching her grow from an anti social scardey cat when she first started to now working and not taking anyone's stuff at a dojo, as well as being adorable with Alex... it would be hard not to love her. Ann is a sweetheart, who has fiinally got her life together and I love it. Not too mention that Nanners is back, and writing Ann spectactularly <3.

Reasons: They are finally getting their lives back together and I love it. Not to mention the fact that Bre and Izy are wonderful writers who really capture the spirit of thier characters. As a Odani fan from the start, this thread makes me so fricken happy.

Reasons:They are adorable! I love every interaction theese two have, and thier writers write them spectaculary. Plus. Horses. So many Horses.

Nomination:Explanations and Musings- Gabriel James
Reasons: Even though there are only a couple of entries, this feels like a real journal. The reason behind the journal is for the character to try and figure himself out. By explaining "why he won't write in blue ink" or "why he is a boxer". I like the juxtaposition between small details, and the major ones as they are written. Emily does an excellent job giving us snippets of her character that we wouldn't normally get to see.

Nomination: Stefan Spencer
Reasons: He's back and he's better (by which I mean worse) than ever. Despite having done a brief jail sentence for his alcohol-related behavior and for presenting a clear and present danger to those around him due to bad judgment, he still thinks he's not an alcoholic. Which means that this can only end with an intervention. I've missed reading Stefan's posts.

Reasons: Brenna is an old member who returned after a long while away. Despite only being back for a few days, she's already posting up a storm and plotting even beyond that. It's wonderful to see how Lilly has grown and the depth that Brenna has brought to her, and I encourage everyone to plot with her now that she's back.

Reasons: Their friendship is truly inexplicable and one gets the sense that they are friends because they were thrown together at the children's table during a holiday one year and there was nobody else around to hold their attention. Yet, it seems to work for them.

Reasons: Rhys runs into Remle at a bar and begins to talk her through post-breakup angst. This might be the distraction that Remle so desperately needed.

Reasons: I know she doesn’t come in the cbox very often, but when she is, she’s the wonderwoman of Apple Peach Pear Sauce delights. There’s been lots of talking and plotting between us this past month that has left me squeeing in utter excitement. She’s a great writer, her characters have so much depth to them, it’s hard to believe sometimes that she’s only 17. A hella lot more mature and with a better head on her shoulders than I ever had at that age, just saying.

Reasons: I adore this sweet little girl and have been waiting since the AU months for her to finally become a real-live character on Hammel. Boy crazy to a fault and a broken gaydar, she falls for pretty much every guy she meets(did I mention her gaydar’s broken?). Lolita style dress, everything cute, ugh, it’s hard not to vomit from the sheer adorableness that is Bunny.

Reasons: Because cuties. I’m glad to see this pair(trio?) back on the boards, they’ve been one of my favorites for a long long time. XD

Reasons: A failed prank and Harmony being somewhat reasonable?? What is this world coming to!?

Reasons: So three guys who could not be more different than each other are tasked with remodeling a house. A cooperative effort. Two of them seem to be getting along properly and ready to move forward…and then Lucas shows up with his mouth. Looks like there’s friction to be had and I can’t wait!
