We did one of these previously, but that was a long, long time ago, and proboards was a different platform then.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it:
Design a new banner for Hammel!
The winning banner/banners (Seriously, last time we had such good submissions there were multiple winners) will have new skins made for them, available to everyone on the site to use. One will be selected as the site's default skin for at least the next few months. The voting/selection of banners will be at the same time as the OTM voting this month.
Here are the rules:

The winning banner/banners (Seriously, last time we had such good submissions there were multiple winners) will have new skins made for them, available to everyone on the site to use. One will be selected as the site's default skin for at least the next few months. The voting/selection of banners will be at the same time as the OTM voting this month.
Here are the rules:
- Banners must be 1000px wide. They may be 300px-400px tall.
- Banners must be available in png format.
- The banner must say The Hammel Institute in a large, readable font.
- By entering your creations, you give Hammel the right to continue using the banner in its original form, even if you leave the site.
- Include a credit/watermark on the image itself. If you're not sure what you want to do for that, I suggest: "Created for The Hammel Institute by NAME" There will also be a banner credit to you on the skin itself.
- Banners cannot use images of specific playbys! There can be people on the banner, but not identifiable characters.
- Banners are due on March 27.
And here are some guidelines, that are not rules:
- Previously, we have used images of the University of Vermont as a stand-in for Hammel. You may continue to do so, or not! I suggest using Wikimedia Commons as a source as their images are free to use.
- If you want to draw something, go for it!
- You do not have to make a square banner. With png format, transparencies are preserved.
- Use a color palate that you would be okay with seeing every day.
