Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate the character you think deserves it for this month. Who was awesome? Who did something significant? As of now, Alex's, Deb's, Bre's, Apollo's, Eddie's, and Rae's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past eight months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, Day, Apollo, Deb, Raven, Elsinore, and Rae are off-limits for nominations. So is everyone on staff.

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! You cannot nominate:

Event Thread of the Month – All Time Warp threads that were started after the last round of OTMs are eligible (which is to say all Time Warp threads in August)

Nomination: Alice Halifax
Reasons: From experience, I know how difficult it can be to play a character like Alice, but Pryce does it beautifully. His attention to detail in this character is what brings her to life. She’s harsh and sharp and just so likably dislikable.

Reasons: What I like most about Band is that she’s incredibly enthusiastic about her plots and isn’t afraid to wiggle her way into someone else’s. She’s always paying attention to what’s going on on site and looking for opportunities for her characters to be involved. Band is always looking to improve her writing and I find it admirable that she doesn’t hesitate to ask questions about details, for critiques and the like, all in an effort to pursue that.

Reasons: I ship these guys. Hard. I can't remember if I've nominated them before, but who cares because their relationship is just so downright adorable and awkward that I have to do it again. Seriously? Have you seen them all in The Talk? I love how their trying to figure out exactly how a relationship works when one side is gestalts. They've got a long road ahead of them, and I'm watching every step of the way.

Nomination: Caffeine Crash - Gryphon Matsuoka and Father Stanley Cupper
Reasons: So this is one of the threads I've been stalking and I'm absolutely loving it. It starts with Gryphon just going for a casual fly-by whereupon he crashes on top of a Starbucks. However, from Father Cupper's perspective, he just saw an angel fly across the sky above and crash into the roof. From here on out it a battle of one insisting he is fine and the other insisting that he seek medical attention and I'm wondering who is going to give first.

Reasons: Bro, she be fly. I love this girl - she's quirky, random and a bundle of laughs and stuff. Her characters are fabulous and she's always up for plotz and when she does thread with people, magic happens. I only wish I wasn't so lazy so I could thread with her more <3 such a babe

Reasons: Okay okay so a man boy walks into a bar and spots a red head, who eventually accidentally rips off his shirt. This relationship is clearly fabulous - the rumour, the general feel of it, Axelle's confusion and ahddjdjjdxdjd it's brilliant <3 *plus their ship name sounds like a foot cream which just makes it all the more better #grammar

Reasons: I love Josef and Damien. I love how they players have developed their relationship and we could watch it grow from those first awkward stages to the now (sometimes still awkward) relationship. And of course I love that horrible luck these two have. It's just wonderful.

Reasons: Lux never fails to brighten my day in the chat box. Not to mention she had a group of amazing characters that she's willing to throw at anyone.

Reasons: I know this thread is just getting started, but I've been stalking it since the planning stages. A) I love seeing Hammel staff as their younger selves roaming around the school. B) These characters are so different, yet equally wonderful, I can't wait to see how they interact.

Reasons: First, I like everything that Abi does. Second, Gladys is the type of character that I adore: an older character with lots of life experience, and a kind and generous nature. If anyone has yet to thread with Gladys, I highly recommend making these plots ASAP.

Reasons: Josh is relatively new, but he is great. He has been plotting up a storm with people, and his posts are well-written and deeply engaging. I want to see more of him and Mychal.

Nomination: Alice Halifax and Rachel Kells - Friends of a Sort
Reasons: All I can say is "poor Rachel." She is having such a difficult time due to her father's abandonment, and she is trying to fill the void with Alice. Alice is not the best role model, and I fear for Rachel's future.

Reasons: I know that this thread has just begun as well, I will forever want to nominate Ashley and Marnie because they have such fascinating interactions.

Reasons: Although this thread has just begun, it already shows insight into the past that Everett and Gabriel share. Sydnee and Emily play off each other well, and I cannot wait to see what develops.

Reasons: I've really enjoyed getting to know Ray while he and Alex have caused trouble. He's adorably naive and innocent, but still up for the possible getting in trouble. Though I haven't heard it all, he has an interesting back-story, which makes him not only a lovable character, but an interesting one as well.

Reasons: I've had fun plotting with a few of Pheli's characters now, and I've gotta say her characters are pretty awesome. I think it's cool that she has a variety of different characters, from the demure and calm Seraphine, to the much less demure and calm Oriel. It's been fun getting to know them! PLUS, she speaks Japanese...so... obvious points. =P

Nomination: Kailin Bishop
Reasons: Most recently I finally have a thread with this character and usually I'm just used to having threads with Adaryn, the only character of Lux's that I interact with, but Kailin has been a joy. You can tell she's been through a lot and that she's developing as a character (something Lux has a huge strength for) and I'm interested to see how she continues to develop.

Reasons: While never in the cbox, I feel as if everyone gets to know Izy through the characters she portrays. Threading with Izy is always interesting and her characters are so dynamic. Even if you don't get to see her talking in the cbox, it's always a pleasure to find an open thread with one of her characters and jump in and see what happens.

Nomination: Gabriel James and Kiara Lilien --Are they together yet?
Reasons: Because I can't stop. If you've read any of the threads with the two of them, you know there's something there, and while it's been unsure for so long what it is, I feel as if it's finally coming to light. Despite my inner Everett, I'm rooting for them...and he may sooner or later too, seeing as Jackson is the other competitor. Their relationship has grown so organically, never planned as a love interest when Sha and Emily started threading them, but it's been great seeing it develop in that direction.

Reasons: Perhaps it's because Jade has interacted with three out of these six characters, but when I saw this was up, I had to read. Maybe because she was dying to know, I'm not sure. Anyway, this is an interesting thread with a great combination of people. It's gonna be hilarious no doubt.

Reasons: This is one quirky character. I love him. He's not the typical one you might come across and he has sides to him that might not be clear at first. Things that can't be played out in threads are put in his diary (which is awesome, may I add), so you pretty much don't miss out on things. I would have loved to have a teacher like that!
