Halloween Dance!

Odion hadn’t played any practical jokes on the student body of Hammel. Doing so just wasn’t worth his time. But if stealing things counted, then he had been busy indeed. He would never steal candy though, that stuff was pretty disgusting if you asked him. Halloween was so much more spectacular than all this. He would have to bring Lani to France on a Halloween night, then the telekinetic would really enjoy himself.
Lani went for the punch, along with a number of other people. Whether knowingly or not, there would soon be some silly things happening at this dance. Odion stayed away from his own flask for the time being. Besides, he might not even touch it all night, depending on what the circumstances called for. If they slipped out of the school and went around dressed up, he might want to be drunk for that. He hadn’t thought about Caroline attending, though judging by her quiet nature, he though she wouldn’t come at all. If she did, he might have to accidentally spill the punch everywhere. Odion, the school’s biggest klutz.
Odion had wondered if Adrianna would show up with a different date. Really, how much could Lani have meant to her then? Especially after she told her roommate about what happened to the three of them, even if it was just focused on her. It was all very interesting to think about, and Odi had spent plenty of time doing so when he wasn’t practicing on speeding through time and into the future. Now that things had settled down a little bit, that part of the training was going better. Luckily for him, training could happen all by himself.
It was truly a shame that Odi had left his cell in his bed.
Watching Lani was amusing to say the least. He went from pacing, to texting, to waiting and fidgeting. Odion had to purse his lips together to stop the laughter. It wasn’t very often that he got to see Lani anxious in waiting. He sighed, supposing he couldn’t keep from his friend any longer. While getting himself another cup of water, he decided against getting one for Lani as well. He didn’t make a big deal about sneaking up on Lani, for the fact that the blonde had been here this long already and hadn’t noticed him was surprise enough.
“Looking for someone?” He asked, knowing that out of all the people here, only one would really know his voice. Odi smirked at Lani like he had won something, and indeed in his mind he had. But still, there was something dreadfully unnerving about that painted on smile of his.
