Olive + Zeb = I can't quite put my finger on it but I feel like these two would be really interesting to see interact.  They're both generally kind/good people but Olive is a bit on the goofy and eccentric side while Zeb seems more patient and collected, so they would balance each other out.  Olive can help pull him out of his shell and Zeb can keep her from accidentally running into traffic like an overactive puppy.  Also Olive has really calming and unique dreams since she's blind.  They usually consist of music accompanied with vague memories of colors and shapes, so that might be cool for him to experience.  No risk of nightmares or hallucinations.

Zeb/Olive Delaney - Zeb could definitely use some friend closer to his own age. I'm thinking maybe to two would already know each other from Hammel, even though he is a few years ahead of they might know each other at least by name. By the way, Zeb graduated in 2003 and returned to work at Hammel in 2007 if that's helpful. And yes, Zeb is very protective. Especially of women. Even more especially of a blind woman I'm thinking.

So...did you have an idea for a thread for them?

Olive struggled at Hammel due to needing a lot of extra assistance, so she stayed a little longer than most, so if my math is correct, he would have been working there when she was 17-19, so they definitely could know each other. Maybe on an acquaintance sort of level.

I think I've got something in mind, so I can get a thread going. I know you've got a lot on your plate so no rush getting in a reply. I'll pm you the link once it's up. : )

If Olive Delaney was a student while Zeb worked there, he would definitely know her. He knows all the students names and faces, especially those he thinks could use someone looking our for them. Still while he makes his presence known to all the students and his door is always open, that doesn't mean they all know him as well as he knows them.

If you'd like to get something up and going, feel free. I'll add it to my to do list.

Pre-emptive plotting!

So when I get MoJo accepted, obviously we need to have a Gladys and MoJo thread (mayube a TW even). But I was also thinking MoJo and Harmony could have an interesting love-hate relationship. The kind where they don't like each other but maybe respect each other on some sort of level. Whatever level two 13/14 year old trouble makers can muster.

Also, I think Kasey would get along pretty well with Zeb, since you say he could use friends closer to his age. Gabriel is up there, too, but a bit younger.

My ideas aren't solid, just wanted to let you know I've started thinking and we should thread more very soon (:

Hey!

I'm totally down for a Gladys/Ramona "MoJo" Knight thread when she gets accepted. Would you be willing to bring Desiree (Lux) into the thread as well? I asked Lux and she's willing.

And I think that would be interesting an interesting relationship. Sort of a competitive, "i repect you, but i don't really like you" kinda thing. Maybe they could even team up for bigger pranks sometimes?

And I could see Zeb getting along with Kasey and Gabriel as well. Though he'd be a bit overprotective of Kasey, not sure how she'd take that. And he'd take Gabriel under his wing as a younger staff member.

Just to let you know, Harmony and Zeb are both a bit busy at the moment, so those threads might have to wait a lil till I can wrap up some things or get a better handle on my post hole. But that'll just give us a lil time to flesh out some ideas maybe.

For some reason I feel like Corbin and Julia need to meet. Partially because dogs are awesome, and partially because I'm genuinely curious if Corbin's own .. somewhat regressed inner-age will overcome her general dislike for people her own age.

Another Kit/Stefan thread (guh I'm sorry for flaking out on the last one) would always be fun.

Harmony might like Jade? ..Jade is kinda the 'f*** the system' type. Iunno.

Gladys could be one of the stronger maternal influences in Charlie's life if she spotted her... Could be fun.

Harmony would probably love Jade. Though I'm not sure how they'd meet/interact.

And Gladys stops by Hammel for cookie deliveries now and then. If she spots a student who looks like he/she need a hug, cookie, or a grandmotherly influence she tends to step in. 

So yeah...all good ideas, though I wouldn't want to launch them all at once. Perhaps we could do Corbin/Julia and maybe Kit/Stefan? Whatcha think?
